It's with great sadness we report the loss of an avid, renowned genealogist/researcher for Western Maryland,
Harriet Moore.
She will be missed. But her legacy lives on.

The 1950 Census is here and free to all!

It takes a little work to find the people you are looking for, unless you know the enumeration district.
This was all done by Artificial Intelligence (Algorithm), so there are mistakes due to handwriting variations.
If you find a page where names are misspelled and you know the correct spelling, PLEASE take a minute to make the corrections.
For example, when I found my own family, the name was listed as "Kalh" instead of "Kalb".
I made the changes right there. My best friends family was on the same page, 2 doors over and the name was listed as "Prar" instead of "Parr".
Now BOTH families are indexed, thus the search will be easier now.
